After 34 years of marriage and business partnership, Randy Travis and his wife-manager Elizabeth Travis have finalized their divorce.
Neither the court petition nor the statement released by the family spokesperson offered any details about the reasons behind the split, but it must be under amicable terms. Elizabeth will be staying on as Randy’s personal manager.
Elizabeth has been a driving force in Randy’s musical career, and he has much to thank her for, including millions of records sold and six Grammys.

Randy Travis was nominated for Vocal Event of the Year for “I Told You So” with Carrie Underwood. This past Sunday night, at the 45th Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards, the duet did not get the opportunity to walk across stage.
Vocal Event of the Year was awarded to Trace Adkins and Blake Shelton for their collaboration on “Hillbilly Bone.” The song was recognized at this year’s Grammy Awards, winning Best Country Collaboration With Vocals.
It was a triumphant night for Carrie Underwood overall. She was awarded Entertainer of the Year for the second consecutive year. Underwood became the first female artist to do so and joins the ranks of only seven other country female stars to achieve Entertainer of the Year in the awards 40 year history! Carrie was also honored with the Triple Crown Award.
Currently Travis is touring the US with performances set through October - Randy Travis tickets are available now. For a complete listing of cities, visit randytravis.com.
